Camping at Joe Pool Lake!

Callie's first time camping, DJ's second time camping. Both Callie and DJ did a great and loved it!

We went fishing with our friends, the Allbees! Abby caught a fish! So did DJ, but he threw it back in the water so fast, I didn't get a picture.

Don caught a turtle... that little guy jumped right back into the water as soon as Don took the hook off.

GOOD MORNING! It was a bit challenging to get the kids to sleep! DJ kept giggling. He must've been too excited to be camping! Callie wasn't going to go to sleep as long as DJ was giggling... so finally I rocked Callie to sleep and DJ and Don fell asleep together. We slept great!

We woke up around 7am... which is early for our clan, but still GREAT for camping!

After packing up our campsite, we went to the beach and played in the water. Callie and DJ both LOVE the water.

I didn't know that swimming was in our camping plans, so I didn't have our swimsuits... but we made do with CLOTHES! :)

Picture Stands Craft Night FUN!

 We had 80, yes EIGHTY picture stands ordered for our craft night! They were only $5 each and turned out so darn cute! Thanks to Don for helping me cut all the wood!

Feeding Fishies... it's been a while!

We hadn't been to feed the fishies in a long time... so we decided to take some dog food over there and visit the fish and ducks! GOSH, this is a LOT of fish!

I think it is crazy how the ducks can WALK on the fish swimming in the water!

Easter 2012

CHEESE! Our Easter was pretty low key, but fun! DJ loved hunting for eggs... with the new swing set, there were a lot more places to hide all the eggs! This 'girlie' basket was just for the hunting... it was much bigger to find all the eggs.

Swing Set

Museum

We love going to the Fort Worth Children's museum... and I think this is the first time DJ saw and touched a snake!

Callie started walking yesterday... and now she's running!

Texas Blue Bonnets

Taking pictures of kids is one of the most frustrating things. EVER. Taking pictures of kids in the weeds and sun, more frustrating. :) This was our last minute, ditch effort to finally after three other blue bonnet seasons so far in Texas, to finally get family blue bonnet pictures... everyone's doing it!

Callie and DJ... DJ tried so hard to hold Callie just right, and Callie wanted to go and explore! (plus it might've been naptime! LOL)

My mom was visiting from California and since she was born in Texas, I wanted to get her some pictures of her and the kids in the blue bonnets too!

We love you Grammie!
