Birthday Trip to Galveston.... heading home!

On our way home... we passed by Texas A and M Galveston location...

We drove by a huge naval ship.

We passed a water way where large ships unload their cargo.

AND... last but NOT LEAST... we ate dinner at Chueys... 

one of our favorite places to eat in Texas!

Birthday Trip to Galveston... the Kemah Boardwalk!

We came across the Kemah Boardwalk just outside of Galveston and decided to check it out. 

It was so much fun!

Birthday Trip to Galveston... TRAINS!

As we were leaving Galveston... we saw this train carrying a LOT of tractors... it was really neat to see. These tractors were huge! :)

Don found this apartment with this beautiful pool for our little get away. It was a little cold to swim, plus we spent the day at the beach on the one sunny day we had. But on the day we left, I got these photos.... beautiful landscape. Perfect place to escape for a few days!

We did go in the hot tub one night... so RELAXING! :)
