A Rough Day at the Office!

Recently... DJ has switched from climbing up the stairs... to making a B-LINE for the keyboard and mouse! He likes to TYPE... I don't like it so much... because it is usually when I'm needing to get things done... so I let him have his own computer time.... CLICK THE PLAY BUTTON... this is a video. :)

Retro Rocket!

DJ just started riding his riding toys... he still is nervous about getting on and off by himself... but he does pretty good going forward and backwards!

ME? Really!!?? The Young Women's President??

That's right... last Sunday, I was set apart to be the Young Women's President of the girls 12-18 in our church! I am SOOOO excited, and a bit nervous. I have 7 other AMAZING women who will also work with me together with the Young Women. I am so BLESSED to be surrounded by such amazing leaders and youth!

After the Fort Worth Stock Yards... we went to a highly recommended restaurant in Fort Worth called Joe T Garcias... and it was YUMMY! :) mmmmmm

Some of us made it a FUN TIME while we waited to be seated...

and ONE of us got super grumpy while waiting to eat!! hmmm Guess who that was!?

Back at the house... here's cousin Allie playin'...

then Allie and DJ on the walker at the same time...

Then Conner wears DJ's halloween costume... well the top half of it. A turtle!

...and last but not least... uncle Keir and cousin Cayden having a water fight!

Conner was out there too before they got the hose involved... Cayden looks pretty soaked here, but I think it's a tie between he and Keir!

Fort Worth Stock Yards

After naps after DJ's birthday party, we hurried to Fort Worth to see the Texas Long Horns walk through the street... but we were just a few minutes late and missed them! :( We DID get to see the cowboys on their horses as we got out of our cars. Conner and Cayden were excited to see the cowboys!

Conner wanted to get up on the Longhorn!

We went to the Wild West show to see some more cowboys!

They cracked their whips and shot guns... it was really loud... so we covered our ears. :)

A few of the cowboys were really good at trick roping... they could get their rope around themselves...

and their horses!

Last but not least... Conner and Cayden got to go for a pony ride!

DJ's 1st Birthday!!

Seriously... a big party for a one year old!? ...I have to admit it was more so I could have people over that we hadn't had over before... and I hope that the kids and adults had a good time! :) We sure enjoyed having our friends and family over to celebrate DJ's first year.... time flies!
