We have been very blessed this
year! We moved from Texas to Ohio in March
& Don’s new job is going well.
Even though we really miss our friends & family in Texas, our transition to
Ohio
has been very smooth thanks to amazing neighbors & church friends.
DJ turned 5 in July & is loving his last year of preschool.
Callie turned 2 in March & WISHES she could go to school!
Callie & DJ are sweet, helpful, loving & very mischievous!
They are two of our biggest blessings!
We quickly learned of the many,
VERY loyal Ohio State Buckeye Fans here.
(We have our own Buckeye!)
We have seen many beautiful places in Ohio & look forward to
exploring more.
I was called to be our church’s
Young Women President 6 weeks after we moved in and felt like the luckiest
person ever. I love working with the girls… it is THE BEST calling in the
church!
Three weeks ago, Don was
called to be our new Bishop at church! It has become very clear in all that we have experienced in the last year, that
Heavenly Father’s Hands are always in our lives. We have felt so much love and
support and now are extremely humbled at this new calling. Don has been the
best support to me as I have served and now it is my turn to support him as he
serves. Don is a very faithful man and will do a fantastic job as he leads our
church.
True joy comes from knowing that
Jesus Christ lives , He is our Savior and following Him.
