Colorado Trip - Misc...

While Grammie was still in Colorado... we had to go to the yummiest BBQ place on earth! YUM!

Merrily, Natalie and Nicole arrived from California by train! After they got there, we took a walk to the store.
It was cold!
Then we headed to lunch... happy DJ! :)

Here we are hangin' out! During our visit... we celebrated Lindsay's Birthday on March 19th and Allie's birthday on March 27th! We went to the movies, ate out, ate in... Keir's yummy cuisines were delicious! ...we even exercised!
Nicole was a sweetheart and gave DJ a bath! Nicole taught DJ to make noises with his mouth while she tapped her hand over his mouth... he would say: "ba ba ba ba ba" CUTE! DJ now does it to himself with the back side of his hand!
Then we took a drive up valley to Aspen to see Keir's work project and got ice cream and cookies in downtown Aspen. Beautiful! :)
It was time for us to fly home... DJ & Don shared the IPod ear phones on the plane! :)

Colorado Trip - To The Park!

We had been inside most of the day, the girls were having fun STAMPIN' IT UP! :) DJ's cousins; Conner and Cayden kept asking if we could go to the park... we kept saying... "Yes, in a little bit!" Well a storm was coming in and the sky was getting dark, the wind was picking up... so we decided to head out quickly in order to make it to the park! :)

We bundled up and headed out to the park. Here are DJ and Allie Grace in the Chariot.

(BTW... this is a NEW bear suit that DJ is wearing! I found it for only $8 at Macy's in DJ's current size! Lindsay teases me that DJ will still be wearing a bear suit when he is 16 years old! LOL

Colorado Trip - Allie's 1st Birthday!

I can't believe it has been a YEAR since DJ's little cousin, Allison was born! Allison is about 4 months older than DJ, but DJ is about 4 pounds heavier than Allison! :) (DJ is our future BYU linebacker!)
Allie enjoyed eating her BEAUTIFUL birthday cake made by her mommy... a darling pink flower cake!
Then on to the presents... of COURSE her big brothers Conner & Cayden were there willing to help with those! :) We love you Allie!

Colorado Trip - Taking Grammie to the Train Station

Grammie had been visiting Lindsay, Keir, Conner, Cayden & Allison in Colorado for a week already and it was time for her to go home to California on the train.
We enjoyed our visit with her and it sure was fun to see the train station in Glenwood Springs! Glenwood Springs is just about 20 minutes from Lindsay's house in Basalt.
There was a little museum at the train station where you could walk around and see model trains driving on their tracks...
There was also a real old train car that the boys enjoyed playing on!
We went outside to wait for Grammie's train to arrive.

It was cold and started snowing!

1st Sippy Cup!

DJ LOVES his Sippy Cup! (YES... important enough to capitalize!) ;) Don & I both had to speak in Church today and were worried that DJ would get fussy... well giving him the sippy cup kept little DJ totally occupied! ...and whatever you do...
DON'T YOU DARE try taking it away from Mr. DJ! :)
He can even hold it with one hand... and he does come up for air... although RARE! teehee
He often times drinks soo fast and CHOKES!

A funny & very nice man came up to us at church and said... "When he's done with that, I want the rest... it must be yummy!" :)

Toes! Toes! Toes!

DJ is facinated with his TOES! From playing with them... and pulling off his socks...
to sucking on them...

kicking his Elmo toy up in the air with them...

rolling over to a wall and putting his feet up on it...

to spining the big recliner chair around in circles with them! The skin is peeling on the bottom of his big toes from all the use they are getting! :)
