Mom & Mer Visit: San Antonio River Boat Ride

Mom & Allison went shopping... so Merrily, DJ & I went on the River Boat Tour! I've done it before... but it is so neat... I could enjoy going on it over and over. :)
DJ was too little to enjoy it last time we went... he LOVED it this time!
It must be spring with all the baby duckies!

The San Antonio River runs right through town...
It is really neat to see businesses, city offices, restaurants and people walking along!
There are restaurants along the river where you can eat on the water's edge!
Later that night at our hotel... DJ LOVED riding on the luggage cart... he'd say "WEEE!"
DJ was so super sad when we had to hang up after talking to Daddy!

We ate at Five Guys Burgers... yummy!
Then we went to Amy's Ice Cream... I was a little nervous to do this...
but here is DJ eating his 1st very own ice cream cone! He tapped the ice cream on his nose... then tried licking it off... silly!

Mom & Merrily Visit: Dallas!

When Merrily & Grammie came to visit... we did some fun things!
DJ showed them his new Elmo chair that Auntie Lindsay sent to him... he LOVES wearing his Elmo t-shirt too!
Next, DJ showed us how he can talk on the phone while holding it on his shoulder! (It's really a remote... but as far as DJ is concerned.... there are several things that work for phones!)
Then we went shopping at Coldwater Creek for Grammie...
Then Old Navy! DJ LOVES doggies... he gave this manaquin dog a hug & kiss!
Then we played in the water... well, we drank a lemonade slushy while watching DJ get close to the water...
DJ is unsure about getting wet...
He found a sweet friend!
We also drove to Dallas to the courthouse to see if we could find any information on Grammie's grandfather... no luck.
We have to figure out how to find where he is buried!

Happy Easter!

We were soo lucky to have Mike and Allison come up from San Antonio to spend Easter weekend with us!
We ate a lot of food, we watched the Semi-Annual General Conference for church...
and we went to the Fort Worth Japanese Gardens!
Don caught a lizard and DJ was not sure about it at first...
Then he went in for the grab!
