Mother's Day in Morro Bay California!

It had been several years since Don had seen his Grandma Dorothy. DJ, Callie and I had never met her, so we planned a trip to Morro Bay, California to go meet her! Our trip happened to fall on Mothers Day Weekend, so a lot of family came! Grandma Judy, Lee, Uncle Jimmy and Auntie Janie came from Oregon, Don's Aunts and cousins came from Northern California, and Don's uncle came from Arizona! Our first night there, we ate dinner at this super yummy seafood restaurant right overlooking the ocean. Beautiful! :) Grandma Judy took DJ to see the aquarium.
We played with family at the beach overlooking Morro Rock. DJ loved running around in Grandma Dorothy's backyard... and there was so much yummy food!

Easter With the Jones'!! XOXO

We were so excited to have my sister Lindsay and her family come spend time with us this past week! :)

Lindsay, Keir, Conner, Cayden and Allie! We watched a lot of movies, play games, went out to eat, and did a lot of nothing! :) It was so fun to have them here... we REALLY wish they could/would move closer to us! Here is Allie in Callie's car seat. :) Here's Cayden pushing his stuffed teddy bear in Callie's swing... and here is Conner holding Baby Callie. Such SWEET kids... we love you tons! MISS YOU TONS!

We got to play and decorate easter eggs as well! Uncle Keir gave the Easter Hunting rules.

Once all the kids found their baskets, then Don & Keir helped get shoes on to go outside for the Easter Egg hunt! :) The kids seemed to have a blast! :) DJ and Don were playing with a nerf gun... FUN! Last but not least... a fun bath time with DJ and Allie Grace... they are 4 months apart in age, guess who is older? Allie Grace is!

Cookie Robots Anyone!!??

If you haven't seen the movie, Dispicable Me... this will seem very strange to you! If you HAVE seen this darling movie... these photos might make you laugh! :) DJ LOVES this movie... and a few nights ago, Don made yummy chocolate chip cookies... and had to make some "Cookie Robots". DJ LOVED this and I had a good laugh myself! :)

More Callie... Growing Big!

Callie has been a very good baby! :) Sleeping 6-7 hours at a time a few nights already! For the most part, she sleeps for about 4-5 hours at night! LOVE IT! :) She's so sweet! We are so blessed to have her in our family! Big brother DJ loves to hug and kiss on her... he's the sweetest big brother!

Callie's First Bath and More!

Callie loved her bath... not a single fuss until we pulled her out. :) DJ stood by close to watch! She looks so comfy all clean in her cozy pj's. Then a few shots with Daddy... she's so alert and has been lifting her little head up since the day she was born. I even put her on her tummy already... and she moved forward a little bit! She's going to be crawling and walking in no time! :)

Callie's Here!

Callie is officially almost 10 days old! What a blessing she has been to us! She is so precious, is so sweet and such a good baby! I was hoping to have her on my niece's birthday of March 27th... Allie Grace who is the same age as DJ... and that's exactly when Callie came! I started having contractions on Saturday night, and Callie was born Sunday morning on March 27th at 9:15am.

She weighed 8 pounds and 13 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. She was about a whole pound lighter than DJ! :)

She has been a dainty and SLOW eater, (unlike her big brother) which caused her to lose weight and the Drs making us go into the office for weight checks every day... luckily little Callie is getting a better hang of nursing... and gained enough weight to stop that nonsense of daily Dr weight checks!

She sleeps a lot, of course!
