Callie's Pacifier Games

Callie thinks it is soooo funny when she puts things on her head and they fall off! She will giggle and giggle and giggle! I think it's amazing that she gets the pacifier to balance on her head. She is one CUTE girl! :)

Cleaning Out Callie's Closet

Callie has a ballet bar in her room... and someone gave me this darling ballerina swimsuit that has princesses and a tutu on it. I thought it would fit Callie this next summer, so I never tried it on and hung it on the hook next to her ballet bar. Well, it started looking really small, so I was going to pack it up. BUT before I did, I wanted a picture of Callie wearing it next to her ballet bar. HOLY MOLY that thing was so small! I'm sad that I didn't try it on her sooner! She probably could've worn this right from birth it is so small! Anyway, glad I got a picture of her in it at least! :)

First Trip without The Kids!

Don has an annual sales kick off meeting for work and the last two years it has been in Las Vegas. I didn't make it last year, as traveling 8 months pregnant with a toddler was anything but appealing to me! This year... yes! Callie is 10 months old and DJ 3.5. We arranged for them to have play dates during the day with friends and then sleep at home two nights with our sweet friend Gloria who DJ calls Grandma Glo! :) We had one fancy dinner night and I wore these fantastic shoes! LOVE these... just wish they were in my size! haha

I hung out with a friend while our husbands were in meetings... we walked around, went shopping, enjoyed walking around and seeing the different hotels (and Sponge Bob and Patrick LOL). I got texts, pictures of the kids... they seemed fine! We ate at a lot of neat places, including having a frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity! I enjoyed not having to chase kids, change diapers, do time-outs, etc... We brought some thank you gifts for our friends who watched the kids for us... M&Ms with their names on them! THANKS SO MUCH!! :) We missed Callie and DJ, but it seemed that they did just fine without us!

Sharing Ice Cream

Callie has come to love ice cream! She is definitely my dad's granddaughter! So, I got DJ an ice cream cone on our way home from somewhere for being a good boy and Callie screamed because she wanted his ice cream! DJ was so sweet to share his ice cream with her! He gave it to her to hold and eat! He would take it back... (she'd scream) he'd give it back to her... and so forth until we got home. Well, when we got home... it was in Callie's hands. I brought her in from the car and put her in her high chair. DJ wanted his ice cream back. I don't know if this is totally sweet or grose... or maby its BOTH! :) Love these two!

Fishing with The Allbees!

We went to a local park that is so much fun... and they have a stocked pond in the back of the park where kids can fish for free and without a license... we decided to go one Saturday morning with our AWESOME friends, the Allbees! :) We did have so much fun fishing, playing and walking around the pond exploring... the only problem was that it was 30 degrees! oooohh that was chilly! :) Thanks for having fun with us Allbees! xoxo

Callie talks!

She loves to say BABY when ever she sees her baby or is tired for bedtime! She also says "Hi Dada" with a true southern accent! hehe Hi, sounds more like "Hiah" She's tried saying DJ... she's a little parrott, copies a lot of what she hears... DJ sings the Thomas the Tank Engine song a lot and she'll sing the do-do-do like DJ does. Smarty Pants Girl!

DJ, er Buzz Light Year... falling with style!

If you haven't seen Toy Story, the cowboy Woody tells the space ranger, Buzz Light Year that he can't fly... Buzz insists that he can fly. Woody says, you can't fly, you just fall with style. DJ watches too much tv! :)
