DJ has been participating in a summer camp with a few friends... and it is called Camp Thursday! It has been so much fun for DJ! 
The first day of camp we made Camp Thursday shirts. :) The kids wear them each week. They have done different activities such as make aquariums as in this picture... learning about marine life.
The kids got to play in the sprinklers one time.
They have treats, of course the otter pops are a big hit! They have made firecrackers for the 4th of July, sang patriotic songs. We learned about animals.
We learned about Bugs and made caterpillars out of bananas and grapes and made spiders out of Oreo's and licorice. YUM! 
Then he got to hunt for bugs with his net, bug tweesers and bug catcher! (there were NO BUGS in this lady's back yard!!!??? so she put rubber bugs out there for the kids to find! SERIOUSLY... who doesn't have bugs in there yard!!?? Especially in Texas! WE LOOKED under ROCKS even! Strange!!)
DJ made a bird feeder and learned about how water can be a solid, liquid or a gas! We made root beer which has all three (solids, liquids and gas) in it! Summer Camp Thursday has been a blast!
