Misc October Happenings

October, 2012 was a very important month in our house... it had nothing to do with birthdays, accomplishments, church callings, family, friends... but a HUGE lesson in patience and HUGE blessing from above to relieve a lot of stress and worry. After six months of unemployment, Don was offered a position as a General Manager at RockTenn, a recycling plant in Columbus, Ohio. While it has been a rough six months (more rough on some [ME] of us than others)... we are super excited to have a job... and super sad to have to move. :( We have loved Texas. We have made great friends. We love our home. We are super sad to move... yet super releived to have a job after looking diligently for the last 6 months. Now to try to live life as normal as possible while we get the house ready to sell... in doing that... we have our amazing babies who keep smiles on our faces....

how about this face for starters??

and, how about this cutie? Look at those beautiful eyes and those giant big brother flip flops... they match her eyes... good choice sweetheart!

We will miss the occasional gecko friend around our Texas home...
they sure are neat to look at and watch.

Daddy is teaching our kids young to use chopsticks.... teeheee

Callie is a climber for sure....

so carefully poised on the footrest....while she plays with the buckle.

DJ was getting ready for church.... getting his church clothes from his Daddy's closet where Don keeps his church clothes.

Baseball time! Love these two cuties!

Peek a boo!

Playdate time! Not missing a thing when you are that close to the TV! hehe

Heading out! All bundled up.

Cheese!

Love this little boy.... he has kept a smile on my face for sure.

Callie turned 18 months old... which means she got to go to the nursery at church for the first time! She was happy as long as I didn't leave! A little different from when DJ went for the first time. He never looked back.

VOTING DAY! We went with friends....

CHEESE!

WHY does little Miss Callie always eat the bottom of her ice cream cone
before the ice cream is gone!!!??

Part of the preparations for getting our house ready to sell, was getting drapes installed in our theater room. Our wonderful friends did this project for us. They are amazing life long friends. LOVE YOU Mark and Sherri Warnick!

Callie felt the best place to lay down was on the table in front of the TV....
These news headlines were top priority news that day and will be for years.

Nite-nite Callie.
