The Next Levels of Mobilty...

DJ has taken a few steps just between Don and I... but prefers to crawl!

...then tonight, he WALKED right past me!

Of course, he still prefers crawling since he's really fast at it... but you saw it here: DJ starting to walk at 14.5 months!

Happy Birthday to ME! :)

THANKS TO DON FOR A FABULOUS BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!! Don made my favorite Chocolate Amaretto cake on Thursday... so we've been eating cake for 4 days now!! YUM! We dropped DJ off at a friends house and went to a yummy dinner Friday with some friends! :)
I had a training all morning Saturday, had lunch with girlfriends, YUM! ...then the Youth dance all Sat night! The girls sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me on the way home from the dance when the clock turned 12:00am! Sweet girls... IN HARMONY nonetheless! :) LOL
Sunday, birthday morning... we had to get up early to meet with our Stake President... so no sleeping in! BUMMER! ...but when we got home from our quick Stake President meeting, Don made the yummiest omlets ever! Don and DJ got me some BEAUTIFUL sunflowers! THANKS BOYS! They also 'picked' out a cute card... (look closely)! Love you guys for being the best men in my life!
After church... I went to my car (well Don's truck is my car on Sundays... since I have a lot of meetings before and after church... Don needs my car with the car seat for DJ!) ...and my girls had heart-attacked my car! THANKS FOR BEING SO SWEET GIRLS!! LOVE YOU! xoxoxo
Don made some YUMMY curry for dinner! Tons of friends sent me emails... I'd say this tops the Best of Birthdays List!

My First Stake Youth Dance... in almost 17 years!

Do you remember The Sign-In Table when entering a dance? This is where we used to have to show our "Dance Cards"! We don't use those anymore! This is Andi... I LOVE her!

After the dance... (waay back in my day... we used to go to Denny's!) but today, we go to Sonic! ...I borrowed Katie's cool glasses so I could look cool too! :)

Liam is such a CUTIE! :) I'm going to steal him and take him home with me one of these days! :) DJ was totally chillin and kickin' back!

Young Women's PJs and Pancakes!

Twice a year in April and October, the men in our church go to a Priesthood meeting on a Saturday night...

This time... our Girls got together for PJs and Pancakes! We also had bacon, juice, popcorn... played some games and watched a movie!
Thanks for coming over GIRLS and for making all the yummy food! :) GREAT JOB!

Eastern Oregon Chunky Chili!!!! YUM!!

Our ward had a chili cookoff! It was a great opportunity to dust off Don's brother's yummy chili recipe! We didn't win... but we think it was THE best chili there!
The judges were the missionaries... and well, they eat anything! :) hehe (I can say that... cuz I was a missionary once!) Anyhow... DJ LOVED the chili too! :)
