My dear friend Alisa from work back in CA... was coming out to Austin for a work conference, so I immediately decided to go meet her down there to see her! DJ and I were headed down... and my new friend from here, Jann came with us to go visit her friend down in Austin! What a fun time we had visiting on the drive down and back!
We met for lunch with Alisa, Roy and Gary... two of our other co-workers that live in Austin... how fun to see them!
We went to Sears so Alisa could pick up a few things... DJ found the mirrors inside the watch case to be very entertaining!
While Alisa had meetings, DJ and I went to Cedar Park to visit our friend, Dave who was one of Don's room mates from BYU. We visited with Dave at his daughter's high school gym... watching them play volleyball.
This was DJ's first time in a gym... and first time watching a volleyball game. He sat really still on Dave's lap watching the volleyball go back and forth! It was funny to watch DJ's and Dave's heads go back and forth in unison! :)
We headed back to the hotel and went to bed... Alisa got back after us... and we got to hang out with her in the morning! So sad to say goodbye... but what a GREAT visit! :)
